New Moon Intuitive Weaving Circles (Join anytime)

In the held and still darkness of the New Moon we gather for a monthly Intuitive Weaving Circle. Calling in the archetype of The Weaver, we practice and hone our craft to consciously bring our intentions into form. The exploration of our truest intentions is nourished by cultivating an awareness of and trust in our intuition.

New Moons are auspicious times that mark beginnings and are the optimal time to plant seeds and begin any new projects, plans, dreams or intentions. Lay the groundwork for what you want to manifest in the coming 6 months, The sign the New Moon is in any month, the Full Moon will be in 6 months later as so the cycles go round. And so, the Full Moon being a time that brings those intentions into big full light of form and ripeness, a sense of completion. The New Moon is a great time to plant seeds of intention and go inwards to explore what actions may be stirring, dreaming to be initiated.

Through the medium of weaving and the archetype of The Weaver we will embody our powers to bring creations into form while exploring our intuition through symbolism, cycles, metaphor, the language of intuition (our knowing), meditation, somatic awareness, and ritual.

What to expect:
There will be time to connect with others before we come together in circle. If you brought something for the altar, you may place it at that time.
Beginning with a guided meditation, a ritual, or a prompt we will come into the space with each other and into ourselves. We will each have a few moments to share what is present for us at this time and what we may be calling in. Moving into our intuitive weaving meditation and ritual we will weave our intentions, explore our intuitive and creative selves, and allow for the weaver in us to show us the way. You may find that you are creating a ritual piece or this may be a meditation that has no specific intention at all, only allowing the creative and intuitive self to play, to come through.

No experience necessary. All looms will be set up when you arrive and I will offer a gentle guidance at the beginning of every circle as we call in The Weaver. If you would like to continue working on your piece or have a loom to take with you, beautiful locally handcrafted loom kits will be available for purchase.

For consistency, circles will be held on the Thursday the week of the new moon, as listed below.

Although beautiful pieces of artwork will be brought into form in this circle, consider that sometimes the intuitive experience is found in the form of a thought, an insight, or a realization while weaving or in meditation. It may be in silence or while we are sharing. It may be a shift in your internal, physical, or somatic experience. It may be in finding that you moved through a creative block or fear, or maybe in the confidence you had to show up. There are so so so many ways that our intuition and our ability to create shows up and what it shows us.

Even the spark of interest or the knowing that you would like to join us, is an intuitive hit. We welcome you to join the circle and to see what is here for you!

If you have never woven before, no worries, you are welcome, and I assure you know just what to do!
